2025 Product Launch: Intelligent Low-Voltage, High-Voltage and AFE Drive Families

The 2025 launch event was held at the Wuxi headquarters under the theme of intelligent technology for a sustainable future, and set out the company's drive families for the coming product cycle. The chairman framed the launch around customer value and energy consumption rather than around specifications alone.
On the low-voltage side the additions were: the YD180 compact frame, 15 % smaller and with 20 % better energy performance; the YD280 standard frame with a modular architecture that lets functions be combined; the YD580 multi-function frame with remote monitoring and diagnostic capability over IoT; an IP54 high-protection range validated for polar, desert and salt-spray environments; and a marine range holding China Classification Society approval for propulsion, air-conditioning and pump duties.
The high-voltage line gained an updated YD1000 with unit bypass and a permanent-magnet motor control algorithm, plus a four-quadrant version that shapes the input current into a sine wave so that current harmonic distortion stays at or below 5 % THDi.
For medium- and low-voltage regeneration duties the launch introduced AFE drives at 380 V, 660 V, 1140 V and 3300 V, each with THDi at or below 5 %, a wide DC bus voltage window so the same unit suits different national supply standards, and an efficiency-focused design. The range was rounded out by custom permanent-magnet direct-drive motors designed with simulation-led electromagnetic work rather than selected from a catalogue.
