Yolico VFD

Dedicated VFD

Dedicated variable frequency drives are tuned for one job: hoisting, marine duty, centrifuge and filtration, or explosion-proof installations. Instead of a generic platform, they carry application-specific logic and protection so the machine runs reliably from the first day.

Our dedicated range covers hoist drives with brake timing, hover and anti-rollback for cranes and electric hoists; marine drives for propulsion, pumps and fans on board; IP54-rated units for dusty or wet sites; centrifuge drives with a master-slave differential-speed algorithm and a common DC bus; and explosion-proof core units for hazardous areas.

Selecting a dedicated drive starts with the machine: motor power, load type, brake or holding requirement, communication bus and environmental rating. Send us the equipment datasheet and duty cycle and our engineers confirm the model and dedicated functions within 24 hours.

How to Select the Right Dedicated

  1. Check the motor nameplate: rated power, current, voltage and frequency.
  2. Identify the load type — variable torque (fans, pumps) or constant torque (conveyors, compressors, mills).
  3. Match the drive's rated output current to the motor's full-load current, not just the kW rating.
  4. Confirm the overload requirement: 120% for light duty, 150% or more for heavy duty.
  5. Check the environment: ambient temperature, dust, humidity and cable length derating.
  6. Send us your specifications — we confirm frame size and quote FOB/CIF within 24 hours.
