Drive accessories extend the life and compliance of your variable frequency drive (VFD) installation. We supply brake resistors for fast stopping, input reactors to soften grid impact, and EMC/EMI filters plus dv/dt filters to protect motors and meet noise limits on long cable runs.

Pick accessories by drive rating and site conditions. Brake resistors must match the regenerated energy; reactors are sized to current and cable length. Encoder cards add closed-loop feedback to open-loop drives, and remote keypads let operators work away from the cabinet. Keep spares for filters and keypads to cut downtime.

How to Select the Right Accessories

  1. Check the motor nameplate: rated power, current, voltage and frequency.
  2. Identify the load type — variable torque (fans, pumps) or constant torque (conveyors, compressors, mills).
  3. Match the drive's rated output current to the motor's full-load current, not just the kW rating.
  4. Confirm the overload requirement: 120% for light duty, 150% or more for heavy duty.
  5. Check the environment: ambient temperature, dust, humidity and cable length derating.
  6. Send us your specifications — we confirm frame size and quote FOB/CIF within 24 hours.
