Inverter Control Cabinet
An inverter control cabinet packages a variable frequency drive (VFD) with its protection and control in one floor-standing or wall unit. Our cabinets combine the VFD, circuit breaker, contactor, and PLC interlock, wired and tested, so your electrician connects power and motor and the system runs. Outdoor versions are rated IP54 against dust and rain.
Define the drive power (up to 1200 kW), the enclosure rating, and the control logic — start/stop, PID, or full PLC sequence. Plan cooling for the cabinet heat load, cable entry, and space for future expansion. For harsh sites, add filters, reactors, and a sun shade. Confirm the input voltage and the fieldbus you use for supervision.

How to Select the Right Control Cabinet
- Check the motor nameplate: rated power, current, voltage and frequency.
- Identify the load type — variable torque (fans, pumps) or constant torque (conveyors, compressors, mills).
- Match the drive's rated output current to the motor's full-load current, not just the kW rating.
- Confirm the overload requirement: 120% for light duty, 150% or more for heavy duty.
- Check the environment: ambient temperature, dust, humidity and cable length derating.
