The YD1000 medium- and high-voltage variable frequency drive (VFD) covers 400–20000 kW at 3–11 kV for large motors in power, mining, cement and water plants. It offers V/f, open-loop and closed-loop vector control, air, water and liquid-air cooling, and IP21 / IP54 protection.

Product Description
The YD1000 moves the very large motors that low-voltage drives cannot serve. With a 3 kV to 11 kV voltage range and 400 kW to 20 MW of power, it drives fans, pumps, compressors, belt conveyors and hoisting equipment in power stations, mines, cement lines and water works.
A multi-level topology delivers clean output with low dv/dt, protecting motor insulation and reducing bearing currents. V/f, open-loop vector and closed-loop vector control modes match the load, while air, water or liquid-air cooling and IP21 / IP54 enclosures adapt the drive to the switchroom environment and the site climate.
