The SPG is a variable-frequency soft starter for large motors, rated 132–930 kW at 380/660 V three-phase. It limits the switching current to 1.2 times the motor rated current, with V/f control, air cooling and IP21 / IP54 protection.

Product Description
The SPG starts large motors smoothly without the inrush and mechanical shock of a direct-on-line start. Rated 132–930 kW at 380 V or 660 V three-phase, it uses V/f control and limits the switching current to no more than 1.2 times the motor rated current.
Air cooling and IP21 / IP54 enclosure options adapt the unit to indoor or harsher sites. The SPG is used with asynchronous induction motors where soft starting is preferred over full variable-speed control, for example on large fans, pumps and compressors.

When should I use a soft starter instead of a VFD?
Choose the SPG when you only need to start and stop a large motor smoothly, without continuous speed control. It lowers inrush current and mechanical stress at lower cost than a full variable frequency drive (VFD). Tell us the motor rating and start duty within 24 hours.
How low is the starting current?
The SPG limits the switching current to no more than 1.2 times the motor rated current, well below the 6–8 times typical of a direct-on-line start, protecting the supply and the motor.
Is it available in 660 V?
Yes. The SPG covers 380 V and 660 V three-phase from 132 to 930 kW, with IP21 or IP54 enclosure options.
