ISO 9001 Surveillance Audit Closed with Zero Non-Conformities

The annual external surveillance audit of the company's ISO 9001 quality management system took place over three days at the end of May. The audit team reviewed documents, inspected the works, interviewed staff and traced processes across management, sales, research and development, quality, production, technical service and human resources.
The audit closed with no non-conformities recorded. The team's written findings highlighted three areas: visible management commitment to the quality system and a raised level of quality awareness across the workforce; clearly documented critical business processes with effective risk controls; and closure of the improvement items raised in previous audits, with corrective actions followed through rather than left open.
Preparation for the audit followed the same pattern that keeps the system working through the year. The quality department convened a dedicated planning meeting to fix responsibilities, each department ran its own internal review against the standard and corrected weak points, and evidence was produced during the audit without delay.
For buyers assessing a drive supplier this matters in a practical way: the audit is the outside check that the processes described in quality documentation are the processes actually being run. The company's stated next step is to link quality management more tightly with digitalisation of the production process, so that process performance is monitored continuously rather than reconstructed for an audit.
