The YD5900 is a four-quadrant, low-harmonic variable frequency drive (VFD) rated 55–630 kW at 380 V and 75–760 kW at 660 V. Sinusoidal linear control keeps current THD at or below 5%, and it drives both PM synchronous and asynchronous motors — ideal for lowering, testing and energy-recovery duty.
| Power range | 380 V: 55–630 kW; 660 V: 75–760 kW |
|---|---|
| Control mode | Sinusoidal (Sin) linear control |
| Harmonic suppression | Low harmonic, THD ≤ 5% |
| Motor type | PM synchronous + asynchronous induction |
| Accessories | LLC reactor, filters |
Loads that regenerate — descending hoists, downhill conveyors, dynamometers and center-driven winders — push energy back into the drive. The YD5900 processes power in all four quadrants with sinusoidal linear control, returning braking energy cleanly while keeping supply current distortion at THD ≤ 5%.
Rated 55–630 kW at 380 V and 75–760 kW at 660 V, it drives PM synchronous and asynchronous induction motors with LLC reactors and filters as matching accessories. For plants fighting harmonic penalties or running regenerative duty cycles, the YD5900 replaces the usual combination of drive plus brake chopper plus filter with a single unit.
The drive motoring and braking in both rotation directions, absorbing regenerated energy instead of tripping or wasting it in a resistor. That suits lowering loads, testing benches and any duty where the load drives the motor.
In most regenerative, low-harmonic applications yes: the YD5900 integrates sinusoidal control with THD ≤ 5% and four-quadrant energy handling. Send your load cycle and we confirm the sizing within 24 hours.
Standard export terms for this range. Send your motor nameplate or equipment list and we confirm the exact model, price and lead time.
Plywood cases are ISPM 15 exempt — no fumigation certificate is required at destination.
