The YDS8000 is a high-performance variable frequency drive (VFD) for permanent magnet synchronous and asynchronous motors, rated 22–630 kW at 380 V and 55–760 kW at 660 V. V/f, SVC and FVC control with 150% overload for 60 s, plus line-driver, sin/cos and resolver encoder cards.

Product Description
Permanent magnet synchronous motors save energy and shrink machine footprints, but they need a drive that understands rotor position. The YDS8000 runs PM synchronous and asynchronous induction motors alike, with V/f, sensorless vector and closed-loop vector modes and a full set of feedback cards: line-driver PG, sin/cos encoder and resolver.
Rated 22–630 kW on 380 V and 55–760 kW on 660 V with 150% overload for 60 seconds, the YDS8000 serves high-duty machinery such as extruders, mixers, hoists and textile lines where PM motors are becoming the norm. An RS-485 communication card connects the drive to plant control.

Why choose a PM-motor drive like the YDS8000?
PM synchronous motors run more efficiently than induction motors of the same frame, cutting energy cost over the machine's life. The YDS8000 drives them with proper rotor-position feedback and also runs ordinary asynchronous motors, so one spare covers both.
Which feedback card should I specify?
